The Days NOBODY Sees
There are days when building something feels exciting.
You check things off the list, make progress, learn something new, and for a moment you can see the future your working towards.
Then there are days like today. Days nobody sees.
The days spent staring at screens, trying to understand systems you've never used before. The days when one small task somehow turns into three hours of searching, reading, and making mistakes. The days when you wonder are you making any progress at all.
Those are the days that test you.
This journey of building Wishful Thinking has taught me something important: success isn't built during the exciting moments. It's built during the frustrating ones.
It's built when you keep going even though your confused.
It's built when you try again after something else didn't work out.
It's built when no one is watching, when no one is clapping, and there is no guarantee that any of it will pay off.
I've spent most of my life in restaurants. I know what hard work looks like. What I didn't realize was how different this kind of work would be. There is no manuals for your own dreams. No manager to ask. No training programs to follow.
Just YOU.
A goal.
And the decision to keep moving forward.
Some days I feel like I'm miles away from where I want to be.
Other days I CAN ALMOST TASTE IT.
Today was somewhere in the middle.
Not a breakthrough day. But not a failure either.
Just another brick in the foundation.
And maybe that's what rebuilding really looks like.
Not giant leaps.
Not overnight success.
Just showing up again tomorrow.
So that's the plan.
Keep learning. Keep building. Keep showing up.
One day at a time.
